Welcome to the Global Kick-off 2025
January 13-15, in Gothenburg, Sweden

We are happy to invite you to the HemoCue Global Kick-off in January 2025 at the Jacy’z Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The meeting commences with an informal dinner at 7 PM on Monday, and the official kick-off meeting starts on Tuesday morning. We will end our days with the Great Award Dinner on Wednesday evening. All events will be in and around the Jacy’z Hotel in Gothenburg.

• Check-in is available from 3 PM on Monday, 13th of January
• Check-out will be at 10 AM on Thursday, 16th of January

Global Sales and Marketing will gather for an extra meeting day on Thursday January 16. Separate information and invitations will be sent out for this meeting.

The theme for the Global Kick-off 2025 will naturally revolve around how we live up to our new purpose, which was launched back in August: Advancing care, test by test, everywhere.

Below you will find more information about the hotel and how to travel to Jacy’z. We look forward to kicking off the HemoCue year 2025 with you and spending some great days together.

Jacy’z Hotel
The hotel opened in Autumn 2022, in a brand new 100-meter-tall building. The hotel has 233 rooms and three restaurants, with three different themes. The 26th floor is home to an Asian sky bar and social dinner club with LA vibes, while the main restaurant (focusing on all-American classics) and an American lunch restaurant are located next to the lobby. Right at the top, on the 27th and 28th floors, you’ll find Pachanga: the hotel’s Miami-inspired pool club. The hotel is a 10-minute taxi ride from Gothenburg central station and a 15-minute walk to the city center of Gothenburg.

Travel to Gothenburg and Jacy’z
It is possible to fly into Gothenburg directly (GOT). From the airport, you can either jump in a cab or take a bus into the city. The busses run every 20 minutes, and the ride will be around 30 minutes. Tickets are available in advance on the web or when boarding the bus.
If you choose to fly into Copenhagen airport, there are trains from Copenhagen airport directly to Gothenburg. The journey will take around 3.5 hours and depart once every hour. Tickets are easily purchased by the platform.
